On iOS, we use Apple's Screen Time API — the same technology used by parental controls. Blocking is enforced at the operating system level, not by a fragile overlay.
We're not trying to stop you from using apps. We're adding a moment of deliberate choice. You can always proceed — we just ask that you're honest with yourself first.

Intened ("the App," "we," "our") is a digital wellbeing application for iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.
On iOS, the App uses Apple's Family Controls framework, which requires the com.apple.developer.family-controls entitlement.
We use this entitlement exclusively to apply and remove application shields via ManagedSettingsStore. We do not access, read, or transmit Screen Time reports, usage data, or any Family Sharing information. All Screen Time interactions occur locally on your device.
The App stores the following data locally on your device, encrypted by the operating system:
This data never leaves your device. It can be deleted at any time by removing the App.
Currently, the App does not transmit or store any user information on external servers. In the future, optional features may allow users to create an account and store data (such as intention notes or usage summaries) on secure servers. These features will be strictly opt-in, and users will be clearly informed before any data is collected or transmitted.
Intened does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social login services. There are no SDKs in the App that transmit data to external parties.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no data from any user, this applies equally to all age groups.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and notify users via an in-app notice on the next launch.
